IRA FLATOW!!!!!!

SciJourn
So yesterday I got the great opportunity to interview NPR's Talk of The Nation: Science Friday's Host Ira Flatow. It was so cool. I got to go to the taping of the show which sold in an hour and a half after its announcement. I after the show I got to do an intimate and lade back interview with the very knowledgeable host. He was really cool. I asked him many questions surrounding the main subject of science. The only thing that I would take back from yesterday was that I show have pushed to interview him in a private room or a room with good soundless ventilation. In addition I would go back and asked to take some pictures with him after we were done so I could put them as my profile picture on facebook and rub it in the face of my friend Arion who thinks he knows everyone famous.

Today was a good day, nothing to big nothing to smal. I edited another paper, this story has major potential to be published it was well written with a few mistakes here and there. Hopefully the updated article will be fix these small mistakes.

Diversification

SciJourn
The SciJourn newsroom is buzzing. We've created new editor and design positions, and our next issue is coming out in less than a month. On Saturday, our new designers were busy learning Adobe InDesign from a professional graphic designer, and our new editors assigned articles and photos to reporters. Next Saturday, everyone has a story to cover at the Missouri History Museum's special exhibit called "RACE: Are We So Different?" The teens will learn how science has affected the history of race.

New Job

SciJourn
So today i got a promotion. I am now an Editor for the SciJourn newspaper. It feels great to benefit the group in this way. I went from being a published journalist to an editor. Hopefully i don't lose friends because of this. I'm sort of afraid of what's going to happen. I'm going to be constructively criticizing my peers work and i just want them to know ITS JUST BUSINESS NOT PERSONAL! It's gone be a tough job but i feel like i'll be just fine =)
