Delamonta's Birthday blog

The kids were really excited about ice cream, which was no surprise. The YES teens were also really excited... maybe a little too excited.  I noticed you didn't get any, which I'm proud of you for.  Way to not be tempted.  I really appreciated all the work you put in on your birthday, Delamonta.  I actually feel like you did more work than a lot of your coworkers, even though it was your special day.  And thanks for being so generous with the brownies!  I'm really glad we chose to do the birthday line for the ice breaker, even though it was a bit confusing for both the teens and the students.  But it was great to see Ms. Hill get excited for your birthday and give you candy.  (I was a little jealous... I have yet to get candy from her, and I think it's a little late for that now.)
